​Agape Ministries began in November 2014 when Dr. Calvin Moore, Jr., held the first service in Fairfield, Alabama after receiving confirmation of this assignment through a prophetic word from God given by Pastor Avril Wiggins, House of Rapha, in Upper Marboro, MD. That Sunday morning more than 150 people showed up and God has been faithful. Agape Nation is experiencing rapid growth as the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being preached with passion each week. Agape Ministries is a Five Fold Ministry--a group of charismatic evangelicals holding fast to the five offices mentioned in Ephesians 4:11. These five offices (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers) remain active and valid offices in the contemporary Christian Church. In October 2015 Agape Ministries was welcomed into covenant membership of the Association of Independent Ministries (A.I.M.) under the leadership of Bishop I.V. and Pastor Bridget Hilliard. We are excited about this ministry fellowship and believe that under the leadership of Bishop I.V. Hilliard our church fellowship will be strengthened. 

 

Statement of Faith

 

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God;

We believe that there is one triune God, which exists eternally in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;

We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of the entire world;  We believe that He is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a holy and sinless life, was crucified, raised from the dead by God, and is now at the right hand of the Father with all power in His hands; 

We believe that through His shed blood, Jesus saves those who accept Him as their personal Savior;  We also believe that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit enables the believer to live a Christian life;

We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead;  We believe in the resurrection; and We believe that when He comes with a great trumpet, the dead in Christ shall rise first and those who are alive will be changed and caught up to meet Him in the air.
